Ship Facts: River Ambassador Review (by Cruise Critic!) | River Ambassador Deck Plans
Living the Legends of Castles
When we embarked on the River Ambassador in the morning of our departure we were met by an extremely friendly, helpful, and fun loving team that became our "family" for the next week. Our Stateroom was spotless, comfortable and always maintained to perfection as was the whole ship.

Our Cruise Director Christine never tired of answering questions and was a virtual open history book when it came to our ports and excursions. We are aged 59 and 64 and eagerly looked forward to each new day of discovery of the beautiful Rhine and the villages we explored. Every single detail was meticulously thought of even to weather conditions re lunching up on the patio deck so we could view the spectacular views etc. If you want to see magnificent castles and breath taking Cathedrals historic and picturesque villages and towns this is the cruise for you. You can partake of extra optional excursions or laze back on the ship.

The Crew are enthusiastic to make your visit as enjoyable as you want and the food is sumptuous and very hard to say no to. The Captain invited us as his guests for the farewell dinner which we were really touched by as we already felt that The River Ambassador was our home away from home. The bedlinen was lovely and we even had a little chocolate each placed on our pillows in the evening. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The fact that no dining table is "booked exclusively" meant we dined with many different people and made many new acquaintances some who will stay within our hearts forever.

So go ahead and book this cruise you will enjoy the gorgeous food and wine, the brilliant friendship of the River Ambassador Team and fellow travellers and realize again that the world is a wonderful place and just how lucky we are to be able to enjoy it by travelling in such a wonderful atmosphere.
