This is our second time on a cruise and it seems that the bench mark was set high because this cruise was mediocre. Our first cruise was in Alaska with RCCL for comparison; that cruise was far superior in all areas.

Once in Montreal there many ways to set up travel to the docks. We elected to fly in a day early, stay at a hotel and rent a car. That worked great for us and we ended up saving money. It was nice to drive around Montreal before boarding the Maasdam. The rental car was easily dropped off two blocks from the Dock.(Dollar rental car) I drove my wife and older children to the dock, and then dropped the car off.

Getting on the ship seemed like a hassle. There were numerous stations that were repetitive and I thought the online preboarding procedure was supposed to cut down on this a bit.

Cabin Review

Good sized cabin and bathroom for interior rooms. Excellent location.
