This was a first cruise for both myself and my husband. The boat was attractive, the crew was attentive. The experience overall wasn't what I had researched or heard from past guests. I'm sad to say the experience wasn't as elegant and leisurely as led to believe.
The food was mediocre, (although dressed-up well) and eating in the main dining room made my husband and me very ill. But after the third night, we learned our lesson and began eating at the South Beach Club's buffet. Overall my husband and I lost a total of 11 lbs. on this cruise. And that was after all the extra Sundaes, alcohol and free ice cream we could pack down.
The alcoholic beverages tend to get a lot stronger as the sun goes down, so beware! On the last night, one apple martini was all either one of us could choke down!
