A little about us we were a group of three my husband and myself in our 30´s and we traveled with my mum who is early 60´s we have all cruised before but not with NCL. My husband and I worked and cruises for many years with princess cruises.
We live now in Portugal so flew in to meet my mum on the Thursday before the cruise and stayed at a lovely friendly B&B in Southampton just 5 minutes from the cruise terminal
Embarkation We arrived at the terminal in car so dropped our luggage at the drop off then went to park the car all very well organized and efficient we was back in the terminal within 10 minutes. We then joined the line of people waiting to check in for there cruise I would say this in total took around an hour and 10 minutes from the back of the line to getting on the ship. All very fast and efficient and we were heeding up the gangway to be greeted by a glass of bubbly within record time.
