Sail Date: Jun 2008

Background: DH and I are both 50 and experienced cruisers. We were traveling with a group of 7, 2 had limited past cruise experience, the other 3 were first time cruisers.

Travel: We flew to Vancouver from Memphis on the date of debarkation. The flight was direct and the majority of the passengers were also cruising. The airport experience couldn't have been better. We used the US Direct check through procedure and were through customs and immigration in minutes. We had a pleasant transfer to the ship with a great bus driver/guide who gave a great tour of Vancouver. Since our flight was late (problems in Memphis with the jetway) there were no embarkation lines.

Room: D704 - mini-suite DH and I were having an early 30th anniversary celebration so we splurged with a mini-suite. Loved having the bathtub. The sitting area was roomy and a great place to eat room service for breakfast each morning. The balcony was large enough for two lounge chairs, 2 regular chairs and a small table. The only drawback is the fact that these balconies stick out so much further than the balconies above. There is no privacy. The passengers above look right down onto your balcony. Room location was great, just around the corner from the aft elevators, we were far enough aft that we didn't get alot of hall traffic and noise.

Cabin Review

Great aft location-very little hall noise and close to the aft elevators. Balcony has no privacy due to design of the ship, the minisuite balconies stick out further than the regular balconies. Sitting area is roomy with a foldout couch, chair and table. Full bathroom with tub and good size storage spaces
