We sailed on the Pride of America on 6/07/2008. This was my wife and I 6th cruise. We went with two other couples. This was their first time cruising. Our ages range from 52 to 60.

We arrived in Honolulu on the 4th of June. We stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach. We were to have a city view room but all received a partial ocean view. We would recommend his hotel as it is right on the beach and is pretty centrally located. Right across from the shopping center. The first night we ate at Dukes, it was excellent. I would however go to the breakfast buffet in Dukes and not go upstairs to the Hula Grill. The buffet is $14.99 and at the Hula grill my meal was $14.99 for just off the menu for the same items.

The next day we had booked a tour to the Polynesian Culture Center. We had booked this through the Outrigger. We had to walk about a block to get on the bus. Don't miss this tour. We got the Ambassador package. It includes a guided tour and either a Luau dinner or a buffet sit down dinner. We went to the sit down dinner and it was good. This also included the night show with great seats.
