Ship Facts: Liberty of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Liberty of the Seas Deck Plans
Beyond Expectations
LET THE FUN BEGIN:

Flew into West Palm Beach from Baltimore.. Southwest.. night before stayed with family took limo to pier arrived at 11:15.. on board at noon painless and very easy. Walked around ship to get accustomed to.My review is coming from a couple traveling just by ourselves.

Lunch at Windjammer selection was great and good enough to satisfy everyones taste. Room was ready after 1:00 bags did not arrive until later that afternoon, make sure you have your needed essentials with you in case your bags arrive late as ours did, was not a problem. We booked a Promenade Room 6329 was two doors down from the elevator and one flight up from promenade deck excellent location to get around. Our cabin attendant Evelyn introduced herself to us smiling and happy to see us, was a gift to have her on board to take care of us. Check and see what seating you have for dinner and where you sit. We had the first seating which we preferred did not care for location and asked to be moved to a window table, they said they would try to change us but could not promise. The next night we were switched to window table, they were great to do that, since there are 2,000 people eating at that seating. Thank you RCCL.

First Day:

At sea every one at poolside if you want to be alone and not so crowded go to front of ship and you will have some shade under a canopy on Deck 12...watch out for the sun the first day very strong. Promenade deck was always busy as a marketplace to shop and taste the products they have to offer. The liquors to sample were so good. Dinners were enjoyable, we sampled alot of different foods they had to offer. food was good don't expect gourmet since they are cooking for 4,000 people. If you want gourmet go to Chops and the food is a step above the norm, very cozy and romantic,, food was excellent highly recommend.

LABADEE:

Very nice and beautiful island to relax, four beaches to choose from 3 on bay side and one on ocean side.. beach to your far left as you arrive very cozy and not so crowded. Great view of the Liberty. Lunch was good and satisfying Rented the floating mats very relaxing.

JAMAICA:

Dunns River Falls what a great time and so much fun. Bought the DVD they take of you going up, watched it when I got back never laughed so hard and great memory to have since you can't take your pictures very well with your camera going up the falls. Expect a long ride to the falls about 90 minutes to get there, on air cond bus.

GRAND CAYMAN:

Stingray City and Barrier Reef was a lot of fun you must love snorkeling to do this.

Back in town did some shopping and went to lunch at Jimmy Buffets, excellent burgers and Land Shark Beer.

COZUMEL:

Took the tour to the Mayan Ruins, ferry ride to mainland then bus ride to ruins. After ferry ride to mainland Playa Del Carmen beautiful beaches and lots of shopping, would have liked to stay at beach next time.

Did some shopping when we got back to COZUMEL. Lots of jewelry, you must be willing to bargain to get the best price,,they will work with you, just don't give in that easily.

SHOWS:

Ice show is a must do not miss. Others shows very well done music and costuming .Allan Brooks cruise director the best.Personable, funny, witty took charge... an asset to RCCL. Thank you Allan.
