I am almost 40 and I have sailed Disney 5 times. I took 2 Wonder cruises 2 Magic, then I sailed Carnival, NCL and finally another Wonder cruise. This was my first 3 night cruise and I was wondering how "rushed" it would feel. I never thought I would book one, but I was in the area and they had a great rate. I wanted to experience something new last year when I sailed the other lines. And although NCL Pearl is probably the most beautiful ship out there, nobody has the class of Disney.

Embarkation: Always a breeze. It's crowded, but it's organized chaos. We were on the ship by noon and headed right for Parrot Cay embarkation rush. I'm glad that the Palo reservations don't open until 1:30. That way there is time to relax and enjoy lunch before the crazy reservation scramble. Getting Palo reservations was easy. They don't get booked up "on line" before the cruise. 50% are held back for embarkation day. Embarkation lunch was good. I always look forward to the chilled soups. Well, not really, but it was REALLY good. Our cabin was ready by 1:30.

Day 1: After the lifeboat drill we had the deck party. We were on the late seating, which was fine. There are pros and cons to both. Our servers were out of this world! They did magic tricks every night, told jokes, and always brought extra food to try. One night the waiter even brought out a special dessert that wasn't even on the menu (bananas foster) yum! The beef in Tritons was outstanding. My husbands halibut was his favorite meal. I could have licked the plate. We caught the show and went for a late swim. What a great day.
