Being that this was my first cruise like many people I'm sure I was very anxious and nervous. Upon arriving in Red Hook(Brooklyn), New York I was amazed at just how big the ship was. Upon arrival I expected the check in to take forever, and we were literally in and on the ship within ten minutes. The staff there was very helpful and pleasant. Upon entering the ship I must say I was rather impressed. It gave a very warm feeling and I didn't feel like I was on a boat but inside a hotel. There was staff everywhere to help direct you where you needed to go, and our Stateroom guy was very nice and gave us some brief instruction on where we needed to go for the lifejacket drill. He too was pleasant! Being that I was never on a cruise before I didn't know what to expect as far as food and entertainment but I was blown away with it all. There was always something to do as well as eat. The food wasn't bad infact I found it rather delicious but I have no other ships to compare it to. The entertainment for the most part was good too. All of the staff was very upbeat,. giddy, and overall friendly. I only had to complaints about the ship itself. The beds were to hard and the showers were to small. It was very hard for me to get comfortable and get a good nights sleep on the bed, and as for the showers I flooded the bathroom twice attempting to shave my legs!! The ports were nice although I felt like we would have been better off taking a taxi to the beach in Bermuda. We did an excursion that was suppose to give us a little tour of the island and four hours on horseshoe bay, when infact the only thing the tour guide told us was that gas prices there were 7.92 for a gallon and that shack like houses started off at 1.2 million. We also only spent 2 hours on the beach. The weather was horrible which no one had control over. The only good thing that came out of that days was getting engaged on Horseshoe bay! Puerto Rico was amazing. We had a lot of fun. I would recommend going to Senor Frogs and getting a Yard of a Frog Buster, totally worth the money! St Thomas was one of my favorites! We did an excursion here too. It took us to two overlooks that overlooked St Thomas and it was incredible. We spent two hours on Magen's Bay which was breath taking and then we did a walk through black beard's castle. I took pictures on a Donkey and our tour guide was very informative. As far as the Grand Turks we didn't really do much aside from Sit on the beach maybe 1/2 to a mile max away from the boat and do a little shopping. We hung out at Margaritaville which was fun! Overall this was a great ship with a lot to do. I would definitely cruise with Princess Again in the Near Future
