First let me say that Alaska is AWESOME! You definitely owe it to yourself to visit there at least once (many more if possible).
Embarkation in Seattle was quick and easy. We arrived at 11:30 and within 30 minutes we were on board. We spent the night before at Embassy suites and found that it was cheaper to rent a car at the airport and drop it off at the Thrifty lot at pier 66. Thrifty offers a free shuttle to pier 30 and it was quick and easy. Our car cost $28. Cheaper than a tax or two transfers. We did the same upon returning from the cruise.
This was our 3rd cruise. The first 2 being in the Caribbean on Carnival Legend and Glory. We love Carnival, but wanted to try Princess to see if the age range and activities would be more to our age group (mid 40s) and we expected the food to be of a better quality and have less children on board.
Quiet, small but plenty of storage and closet space.
