This is one Great Cruise overall. We had the best weather possible. Background this was our 8th cruise. We have cruised HAL, Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Princess. NCL did a wonderful job overall. I am not going to review ports here as many others could do a better job its all beautiful and I just wanted to review the ship. Lisa is a very good concierge.

The Good and some Great: Cagney's, all the specialty restaurants really. The ship itself. The Villa Suites and the Courtyard, private sundeck. The ability to walk off the ship as late as 10 AM the last morning, no more cattle calls and hurry up. The disco where they had shows to involve guests and staff it was fun. NCL is a Good value in cruising. Excellent cost for a balcony room. Very comfortable bed, good soaps and shampoo. FREESTYLE is a PLUS. Again use the specialty restaurants.

The Not so good: Regular balcony rooms is small, esp the bathroom. Poor layout for the bath. The regular dining room should be avoided for dinner at all cost. The worst food and service we have had. W/out traditional dining you are going to lose the relationship you build with the waiter, but you shouldn't lose this much food quality. They need to pick up dirty dishes from room service that sets in the hallways for hours. Some room stewards while they would move and let you pass seemed to be bothered by you making them move. The hallways seemed more narrow that other cruises.
