Just returned yesterday from a 7 night vacation aboard the Legend......some surprises for us, with regard to what we'd PLANNED to do, and what we actually DID!
Embarkation: It is what it is. No worse, no better than the other two cruises we've been on prior to this. (Cape Canaveral and Mobile were the ports for those). It took a whopping 30 minutes, top, and we got there around 12ish. The only thing we hated was the traffic around the drop off!
Ship Interior: I'd read so much about the decor. Bottom line is this: I wouldn't decorate my house in the style of ANY cruise ship, but I also don't want to vacation someplace that looks exactly like my house either. Over the top? Sure. Glitzy to the point of tacky? Some places....but hey, it's a cruise ship, not your brother's dinghy.
Huge closets (2 with bars, 1 with shelves); adequate drawer space. Bathroom had plenty of storage shelves. Bedding-Excellent FIRM mattresses! Despite being near elevators/stairs, very quiet! Balcony small, but comfy chairs and small table (ottoman!) Room decent sized, considering you ARE on a ship! Cabin mid-ship area-we liked the location!
