After a horrible experience with Carnival on our first cruise in October 2007, we were reluctant to try it again so soon. We heard good things about RC from others cruisers, so we decided to take my daughter and her boyfriend on the trip for graduation. A month before the trip, we decided to add my son and his girlfriend, since she was also graduating, and he missed out on a trip when he graduated.

We arrived at the port just after noon and it didn't take us no time to get on board. We went and grabbed a bite to eat at the Windjammer and when we got back, our luggage was already there. We unpacked and toured the ship. Just beautiful.

First full day at sea was nice and hot. Decks were crowded, but we found a place to fit in. Didn't take long for me to get out of the sun. Went to the Solarium and put down a few cool beers and watched out the window and absorbed the scenery. Formal dinner was excellent. Great staff. They'll bring you whatever you want. Food was great. Went to the show. Musical show was OK, but not my bag.
