This was our 4th cruise with Carnival, our second bringing the kids. We have two boys aged 5 & 8. It was a 3 night cruise from Pt Canaveral to Bahamas. One full day (over night) at Nassau and one full day was at sea.

Despite what many reviewers said about the ship being "old" and "very purple", I found it clean and not all that bad. Yes, the cabinets in our cabin were very worn and misaligned. You could see that the cabins could use an upgrade, but it did not bother us or change our opinion of our vacation. The beds were VERY comfortable - fluffy white down comforters - nice! We had 2 uppers, and I would warn anyone with this type of room - you WILL hit your head on one of the bunks at least one time throughout your trip! I hit my head 3 different times! Our friends had a cabin with only one bunk, and their 9 yr old actually busted his head open on it (blood and all)!

We had traveled on the Inspiration 4 years ago, and this ship was laid out almost exactly the same. That made it very easy for us to navigate.
