This was our first cruise so we were rather anxious. We needn't have been. From the moment David and I embarked the ship it was a truly wonderful holiday (apart from the bad weather in most of the ports we visited). There was a long line of housekeeping staff waiting to greet you and take you immediately to your cabin where your luggage was ready waiting for you. The cabins were extremely clean and towels were changed twice a day. They were also cleaned twice a day (at least)

We found the staff really nice, polite and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them.

The food was excellent - always fresh whatever the time of day and plenty of choice. We like lots of variety in our meals so we mostly eat in the Lido buffet, though we did enjoy two nights in the more formal Compass Rose Restaurant. Our only complaint here was that rather than choosing your own seats the waiters allocated you to a table with other people. We were lucky in finding compatible people at both tables. We had no complaints about any of the meals we ate. We were also impressed by the variety of meals in the Lido even late a night.
