We just got home from the eastern Caribbean and I must admit we had the time of our lives. We were pampered, ate till we 'bout exploded and laughed till our sides hurt.

We woke up at 4am to get ready to go out to the airport.

Our plane took off from Sacramento at 6:30 am on Friday on Northwest Airlines. We had a layover in Min., then by 8PM we arrived in Miami. The carnival bus was waiting for us at the baggage claim area.  The lady who greeted us was not the most friendly person, she must have had a lot on her mind. From that moment on I felt like we were cattle being led here and there lugging two heavy suitcases and trying to get on to the bus. We got delayed for about a hour due to the fact that the president was motorcading to catch a flight out of miami..(we were served a box of cereal and bagel for breakfast the second plane only served pretzels and a drink..so word of caution eat well before you leave or you will be starving when you get to miami). The hotel that carnival put us up at when we arrived in miami was beautiful, the Hilton, very classy. The food was excellent and so was the service.
