Sail Date: May 2008

This was our 1st cruise and Carnival really did it right!! We booked online and let Carnival book our flight from Charlotte to Miami. They gave us only a 2 hour window to make the ship and that was somewhat nerve racking.. Next time I'll book my own flight and come in a day early to take the stress away of not making it to the ship on time.

Embarkation: This was Liberty's first time sailing from Miami. The folks at the airport met us and smoothly transferred us to the port. Once there the process was somewhat chaotic. We were to check in thru the VIP line, but had to ask several people where that line was and never did find a "line", but were escorted under/around and thru barriers until we were delivered to the VIP checkin. Once there, proceeded on to the ship in about 10 minutes.

The cabin was very roomy and well appointed. Our steward was from Thailand and as I speak a little Thai, we hit it off immediately. Our room was always clean and he was extremely helpful with information throughout the voyage.
