Sail Date: Jul 2007

This was my family's second sailing on the Explorer. We went last year in June with another family. This year we were going to do an all inclusive trip somewhere in Mexico but could go on the cruise again this year for a little cheaper & a little longer so we decided to cruise again. Not a bad choice at all.

We sailed July 20-29 2007. The seas seemed to be a little choppier but the weather was just as nice.

We left on a Friday morning. We drive from Harrisburg, PA which is about 4 hours away so we left around 9:00am. The drive isn't horrible but don't trust mapquest. Luckily there are little signs posted & we found our way to the pier. There wasn't that much traffic so we quickly unloaded & parked. Parking is ridiculously expensive. $14 a day for 9 days can really add up. I wish there was a better alternative but whatever. After parking, my dad & I came back to the luggage to find everyone still waiting for a porter. Maybe there was strike or something because the previous year you had to beat them off with a stick. After about 20 minutes, someone finally came & told us he would take care of the luggage. We handed him some money just to be on the safe side & entered the terminal.
