San Juan: Arrived a day early. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express (good call). Stored luggage across the street from ship on morning of cruise to explore Old San Juan. Too hot to get very far. Boarded ship around 1pm .. it was a breeze.

Stateroom: Plenty large enough (shower very large). Having a balcony was awesome. Steward kept room immaculate. Converter for TV broke and was replaced a few hours later without us even mentioning it ... wow.

Destiny: Nothing wrong with this boat and we've been on a much newer, and bigger ship. 24 hour pizza, awesome. Burgers were great. NY deli very, very good too. Buffet was limited compared to Royal Carib. Food and service in main dining room was good, but not great. However, the lobster dinner and prime rib dinners were as good as it gets.

Cabin Review

Cabin 8

Great balcony, Huge shower. Still don't know where to put feet when sitting on toilet ... lol. Very quiet & only 5 rooms from Lido deck where everything is happening. Too easy to get to food and drinks.
