Seattle was very nice- Pike's Market was fun\neat with all the different foods and flowers. We had dinner at the top of the Space Needle-expensive ($30 per plate with tip) but fairly decent. Did NOT rain while we were there...
Embarkation- Took the "Seattle Express" from SeaTac-$12 per person - arrived at 11am; hardly no line at check-in. Walked around until 11:30 when boarding began. Line was fairly long and took about 40 minutes to get thru security and on the boat.
We had a call the night before we left saying that we had been given a complimentary upgrade from an interior room (which we got because of the price) to an obstructed view exterior room. It was a nice gesture and I'm glad we got the upgrade though I'm not sure I would have paid the difference.
Nice view-somewhat obstructed-between lifeboats. Plenty of storage between drawers and closet. Fridge and ice. Very comfortable with plenty of lighting.
