I just returned from a fabulous cruise aboard the Carnival Paradise...a short mom's only trip with three other moms.

EMBARKATION- We arrived at 3pm. The parking garage is incredibly convenient, literally right at the ship. If your bags are larger than an airline acceptable carry-on, you have to check it in with the porter. We did have to wait in line to get our bags to a porter, which was kind of confusing. Some people were waiting to get luggage tags, and some had the tags they received from Carnival. Two lines always lead to a little chaos. The cool thing is, our luggage BEAT US to our room. No need to worry that you will be without your luggage for HOURS!

We went into the terminal and almost cried at the ugly, long line. However, it's bark is worse than it's bite. The line only took about 20 minutes. There are SO many windows and the Carnival agents are efficient and friendly. It was really quite surprising.
