Embarkation: Used Royal Caribbean's Custom Air, which included roundtrip transfers airport/port in Rome. Worked like a charm. Royal kept me posted on airline changes which occurred which made it possible for me to customize what I wanted. I was traveling with my elderly mom so the bus transfers were the easiest for us. Nice to have someone meeting you at the airport, taking your luggage and then you forget about it all until you are on the ship! The ride on the bus was nice as we had a little commentary. Would definitely use the transfers again. Less hassles re taxi, getting to the port, check in, etc. By the way, once at the port, check in was a breeze!

Went straight to Windjammer for lunch and it was great. I was wondering if Legend would have a more Italian flair and they did when it came to the food. Always a couple of pasta dishes with different sauces to choose from AND always a pile of proscuitto. Paninis were to be found everyday also. (Found out that the head chef is Italian). Yum.

Cabin was ready by 3 pm. Was a little disappointed in that our cabin did not have a refrigerator. This was the first time on RCI that I didn't have one. After unpacking, we did a quick walk around the ship and the dEcor was kind of plain. Not that I like fancy, but compared to the other ships I was on, it was very plain. I usually end up taking photos of dEcor around the ship and this time, I didn't feel the desire. Muster was at the usual 4:30.
