This was my second cruise on the Celebrity Century and my second transatlantic cruise. I think it is fair to say that I love the T/A - those lovely relaxing days at sea and in fact I booked another transatlantic cruise for next April on the Century, whilst I was on board and upgraded my cabin for my September crossing on the Constellation.

I travelled (alone) from the UK the day before we sailed and stayed at The Holiday Inn in Miami - a budget hotel compared to most in Miami but it was pleasant enough and very close to the port and opposite Bay Street Market.

I was looking to do some shopping (because of the strong £) in the morning before I boarded the ship but unfortunately the Bay Market shops didn't open until 11 a.m. so I grabbed a cab and headed for Macy's where I bought perfume and shoes. Read more
