We were first time cruisers, and the Carnival Freedom was an excellent choice!!

Staff The staff was friendly, accommodating and everywhere!! No need went unmet, they had a smile from day one to day fourteen. They attempted to get to know their guests on a personal level, and also made an effort to learn consistent dining and cabin habits.

Food The wait staff was fantastic, friendly and entertaining. The Maitre'd was non existent for the entire 2 weeks, So we were a little unsure about why Carnival pressed for us to tip him extra. The food was good..at first, but became a bit repetitive after a few days. Themed nights would have been appreciated or at least a variety of meals other than beef and salmon. The sun King Supper club is fully worth the 30 dollars, as the food was outstanding, as well as the service. The porterhouse is a MUST.
