This is our second cruise on the Rotterdam in the past eighteen months.

Embarkation in Baltimore was a breeze with the on-line form in hand. From the time we parked the car, we were in our veranda deck cabin in 45min. Our cabin steward arrived in minutes and gave us a warm greeting and asked if we would need anything special during our stay. The two requests were done every day at the times we requested.

We then went for lunch and I to inspect the ship. The Rotterdam is seven years old and starting to show minor wear, rugs-varnish on teak outside rails-paint on cabin verandas with some rust spots. Otherwise the ship was spotless on a daily basis. Read more
