Embarkation:

We cruised on the Adventure of the Seas on the April 13th sailing. We flew from JFK to San Juan on Sunday morning, landing around 12:30. We took a cab from the airport to the dock, which cost around $20 - very simple, just go to the taxi stand outside the baggage claim. Boarding took about 20 minutes, most of which was spent waiting to drop off our checked luggage. Be prepared - it costs $1 per bag, which I thought was a tip. However, the woman in front of us started to walk off without paying, and the baggage handler chased her down and told her she was required to pay. Actual check in was easy, and we each had our sea passes in just a few minutes.
