Carnival Paradise is a fun filled short cruise! Took the 3 night cruise down to Ensenada. First impression is that the ship is in pretty good shape. We were on board by about 1:30 with no wait time. Hit the Paris buffet for lunch. There are not a lot of entree variety on the buffet but the food was pretty good. Good traffic flow around the salad bar, and sandwich area (which is behind the salad bar).

Rooms were in good condition. We decided we liked being up front as there was very little traffic in the halls. It was a bit of a loud cruise with lots of groups of friends and party groups. This is definitely more of a party boat and I was surprised by the number of kids on board. Nothing overwhelming and they were never underfoot, but it is always surprising to see. Wide age range of guests as well - not everyone is under 30!

The dining room was wonderful in the evening. I know there have been a lot of reviews about mediocre food, but I thought everything was quite good in the dining room. So-so on the breakfast buffet, but great dining room. Also, ordering coffee in your room in the morning is a great way to start the day.
