This was our third cruise in three years. First on Princess.

We arrived the day prior to sailing and stayed at the Embassy Suites. Nice hotel and good value with free cocktails from 5:30 to 7:30 and free full breakfast. Just one tip regarding the elevators. Leave yourself plenty of time at checkout if you are departing on a cruise. When we were ready to check out and board the shuttle to the ship, so was everybody else. It took us thirty minutes to get an elevator. From the tenth floor and eight pieces of luggage, the stairway was not an option.

Arrived at the terminal at 11:30 and we were in our room by 12:30. Long line upon arrival but it moved quickly. Staff at check in were friendly and welcoming.
