This was our first cruise and we would definitely do it again. We had a wonderful time. Our cabin was on deck 5 in the front and pretty quiet and not too much motion even when the swells got a bit choppy. It was well taken care of by Gerald our steward. Two of the restaurants were on our deck and it was still much quieter than 15 Lido deck hallways.
Breakfast room service was great and always on time. There was only one time that the dining room service was slow, we were there 1 1/2 hours prior to the Beatles show and really had to rush by the time the food arrived to make the show but other than that it was really good. We chose anytime dining and it was a great way to meet a lot of people from all over and we could eat where and when we wanted. The buffets were always fresh and had lots of different things to try. I especially enjoyed trying all the different cold soups. The only thing I didn't like was the smoking on the port side of the Lido deck was too close to the pizza place...which was delicious by the way.
The Princess Patter, which was in our cabin every evening, was great to help us decide what to do each day and when to be where (sometimes it was difficult as 2 or 3 things we wanted to attend were at the same time).
