My mother, 5 year old daughter and I just returned from a trip to the Mexican Riviera on the Vision. My daughter had a fabulous time, and if she's happy, I'm happy. For my part, however, the trip was merely OK. A few or the highlights (and lowlights).

Embarkation -- This was fine unless you were traveling with a child. The line to check in and get the sea pass card went quickly, but if you were traveling with a child, you had to get into a second line to obtain the wristband each child under 12 must wear. Because this trip was over spring break, there were roughly 700 children on the ship, and the wristband desk could only handle one family at a time, so we had to wait in line for a long time.

Cabin -- I don't have experience with any other cruise ships, so I can't compare. We were in an outside cabin on deck 2. It was clean and had sufficient storage room. The decor was pretty drab. The bathroom was small but adequate. Our cabin attendant was great. My daughter really enjoyed the towel animals he left each night, and he never failed to promptly respond to our requests.
