I have cruised numerous times on Carnival, Princess and Royal Caribbean, however never on a Mega Ship like Adventure of the Sea's (Voyager class). With that in mind I read every review I could find, more than a sane person should.

Having just returned from the Southern Caribbean I thought I would write this while all my impressions were fresh and address many of the perceptions and frankly myths I read prior to my vacation. This might be more blunt than some would prefer however it is objective and is a consensus from the others who were also on this ship as well as friends of ours who were on a sister ship 2 weeks prior.

First, if you are highly demanding and frankly on the snobbish side, you are better off paying a lot more money for a boutique ship where there are less people at the higher end of the economic scale.
