First of all, a bit of background, it was me and my husband, no kids, I'm 45 and hubby is 46. We live in San Diego, so embarkation was a breeze...highly recommend Mission Brewery parking. Easy, easy access off the 5 freeway, very reasonable pricing and excellent shuttle service, they pick you up at your car, which is nice as you don't have to schlep your luggage to a central area.

Got to the terminal a bit after 1pm and we were drinking our first DOD by 2pm, VERY easy and fast embarkation.

Muster drill was easy and over with pretty quickly, quite painless, lol. We had a pretty active "roll call" on Cruise Critic, so many of us got together for sail away on aft Lido Deck and had a great time hooking up with our fellow roll callers.
