We arrived at the San Diego pier at approximately 12:30 PM on March 30, 2008 for our Dawn Princess cruise. We were on line outside the terminal for about 10 minutes before our luggage was taken by a porter. Porters were extremely courteous and we experienced a first - the porter refused a tip.
We proceeded to the terminal and as Elite passengers, were directed to the Elite line. We had our passports and online check- in forms in hand, check in took five minutes and we were directed right onto the ship.
For a 10 year old ship, we were impressed by how well maintained the ship was. It was spotless and had well maintained public areas.
