We called this "family cruise part two" since we had traveled with family on the Glory during Christmas week 2006.

The background: DH (45), me (47) on our 5th Carnival cruise (halfway to platinum ba-by!); DSIL (43), DBIL (44), DNieces (14 & 7) and DNephew (8) on their 2nd cruise; and DSIL (46) and DNiece (9) on their 2nd cruise.

We chose a 5-day cruise with 2 days in Tampa and a western Caribbean itinerary. We flew from Portland, ME to Tampa, FL on Saturday, February 23. The flights were on time despite the weather (glad we flew down 2-days prior) but a bit hectic trying to coordinate all nine of us flying at the same time. During the NY to Tampa leg of our flight, my DSIL realized she had lost her bag with all five passports in it. Calm down, wait until we get to Tampa and try to figure out where they were lost. Many phone calls to TSA in Portland, the airport, Jet Blue customer service, etc. Finally, we get a call saying that the passports were found on the plane in NY. Not before my DSIL had called a friend at home and had her get their birth certificates and overnight them to our Tampa hotel. Problem solved, on to the hotel.
