This was our first 10 day cruise and we wanted to experience some days at sea. We were not disappointed in the days at sea and the balance of the cruise either. It was nice to say that after our first week at sea, we STILL had 3 days! The panama canal was a great day also. Going through the locks was neat. We stayed on board to go back through the locks, this time dropping to a lower level.

The food was divine. We 'pigged' out on lobster night. I had 9 lobsters and two of our table mates had 13 and 15. We also had the pleasure of a couple celebrating their 62nd anniversary. Both were sharp as tacks, with a zest for life. I can honestly say that our fixed seating and our dinner mates were a great part of our enjoyment. The wait staff, was superb. We had Carlos and Gabriella and if you can get them you will not be disappointed. If you do, say hello from Sam.

We relaxed, and explored the ship each day on board. We have sailed before, so a couple of excursions were of the 1/2 day version so we could get back on the ship.
