Four of us went on the March 15, 2008 sailing which was the Spring Break cruise and we all shared a cabin. I chose an outside partly obstructed view cabin and it was bigger than I expected. I have cruised 4 times prior to this, (with Carnival and Princess) but not since 1990 and the cabins are bigger then they were back then. I was pleasantly surprised by this and found the cabin to adequately accommodate the 4 of us, with good storage areas in the main cabin and a nice sized shower in the bathroom area.

The cruise was full or so the sign on the reception desk said. From the amount of people on board I believed it. However, with a few exceptions, the line ups were not too bad on the ship. If you wanted a lounge chair anywhere near the pool area though you needed to claim it by 8:30 am as everyone 'saved' chairs on deck with towels even though the signs said not to.

Embarkation: Not bad. We arrived around 11:00 am, were given a number for Group 5 and were checked in the desk at the terminal immediately, and then we sat around for an hour waiting to get on board. They called the villas first about noon, followed by latitude members and then began calling the groups in order. After getting our picture taken we were allowed on board the ship, but the rooms were not ready yet, as I knew from reading the cruise critic boards. From reading the boards I also knew that the Versailles restaurant was open for lunch so after getting lost a little bit trying to find how to get down to its area on deck 6 (you have to take the aft elevators, the mid elevators won't take you there), we settled in at the restaurant for lunch. Food: The food was fine. It was not great, and not as good as on previous cruises but it was fine. We did not eat at any of the 'pay restaurants', so I can't comment on them. We went to the buffet, the Aqua, the Versailles, the Blue Lagoon, and we ate also from the outside deck buffet and bbq food available on deck 12. The food at the buffets was basic food trying to please as many people as possible and I think they succeeded. As pointed out in a previous review, the coffee at the buffet was not very good. It was much better at Versailles, where we went several times for breakfast.
