Travel Group - Traveled with my wife's family, my wife, and 3 year old daughter - overall a party of eight, including 4 Senior Citizens. This was our 3rd cruise as a group, the 1st with Celebrity (Constellation), the 2nd with Royal Caribbean (Legend of the Seas).

Embarkation - Very smooth. We got to the pier around 11:15 am. Check in and security went very well. We were through the entire process and on board at about noon.

Ship Info - We're always amazed the way people describe a ship that needs updating. When you hear they way some people describe it, you would think you're going onto a freighter. We thought Vision of the Seas was in excellent shape and would not say that it looks outdated at all. We were on its sister ship, Legend of the Seas, last year and Vision's public areas are definitely larger and more spacious. We liked the artwork on Vision much better than Legend (though we like the Solarium area better on Legend). The Windjammer seemed more crowded this year but I think it was due to how the food was laid out that the flow of people would occasionally get backed up. The staterooms are virtually identical (we had an Ocean View cabin on Deck 3 - approx 154 square feet. Excellent storage everywhere so the room never felt crowded (we were rarely in the room anyways!!!).
