What a major disappointment! We had taken two prior cruises with Royal Caribbean (RCCL), one three night and one seven night. Carnival Triumph could not even compete!

Our cabin steward was friendly but not really helpful. Our cabin stewards on RCCL were not only friendly, but they were helpful! They deserved their tip for all the helpful insight before going ashore in different places, as well as four star service. My cabin steward with Carnival threw away my daily "Carnival Capers" (daily ship newsletter)and several paper menus I had collected from restaurants we had eaten at while ashore on the last night of my cruise while we were at dinner, I had planned on using these as part of my scrapbook from my trip, but the only explanation I received was "Sorry, I didn't think you would need them anymore."

As for towel exchange, he gladly exchanged bath towels, but would never exchange pool towels unless requested.
