The one mistake we made is that we flew into Ft. Lauderdale to save some $$$ on hotel and airfare... Which was a great idea but the hotel we booked stated they were close to the airport... Um No!!! We paid 40 each way for a taxi... Other than that we didn't make any other mistakes. Let's see... We used the carnival shuttle which went fine and I must say that the boarding process was not that bad... We didn't wait that long... I did bring water and juice which the porters are not longer allowed to put on for us so I had to lug it on.(: Once we got on the ship we grabbed some food and some beers!!! I must say the ship is gorgeous... I loved the decor which some have said they hated. Huge ship that I would go on again. The muster drill has improved a great deal! Much shorter than my last cruise. I would say the staff on the ship was one of the best, everyone was nice and very helpful, or maybe because they knew we were getting married. I did have a little party when my booze smuggling suitcase made it to the room!!! OHHH YEAAA!!! The 1st night was relaxing and we kind of got to know the ship and the night life which was great! (We had late seating) We woke up early because we were so excited and watched the sunrise and explored the ship, which was great because almost no one was up yet. I LOVE the omelets!!! We spent the day lying by the pool, swimming, eating, drinking, playing mini golf (FUN) and going down the water slide time and time again. You can really get some speed on this one! The 1st formal night was great and we took a bunch of pictures and had a great meal... I did order more than one appetizer and entrEe several times and they did not have any problem doing it. I made sure to try a bunch of new foods that I have never had.... Like Duck YUMMY! Lamb, eel, octopus and tons of sushi... Since I am on the food topic some must have food on the ship. The Mongolian bar is great but much better to get to earlier in the week before everyone knows about it. The sushi bar is a nice smack before dinner if you have the late dinner (opens at 5pm) I loved the fish and chips but it took me until the last day to find it. 10 floor in the back of Rosies, I had the beer battered fish and chips with octopus salad and loved it!!! VERY GOOD!!! I do love the chocolate melting cake. I tired the deli, Asian corner and room service and it was good but not the best food on the ship. Oh yea pizza was good also sooo much food on this ship it is hard to remember. The midnight buffet was great as always and the chocolate bar was good but not great (little disappointed in the cheesecake) I think they rushed it a little. I will get into the supper club later which everyone should do!!!! Best meal I have had in a long time... Ok back on track now... The second day was in Grand Cayman which I won't be able to help anyone with excursions because I got married on a private section of the 7 mile beach... It was perfect and the weather was beautiful!!! I couldn't have asked for anything better. The whole trip we were treated like royalty and I loved every minute of it. That night we went to Scarlet for dinner (supper club) and had the best dinner I have had in a long time... 24 oz steak and grace had the surf and turf (huge lobster tail) plus tons of other courses. We couldn't eat anything else the next morning because we were sooo full. They have a woman singing and we asked her to sing our song for our 1st dance... IT WAS PERFECT! The night life is great on this ship and everything is near each other so you can walk or stumble to the other bar... For Yankee fans the Bronx bar is a great place for a drink, the one step is lively after 11pm after the shoo out the youngsters and make them to to their own club (caboose). The Piano bar, Eagles lounge and Winston's cigar bar are all different places to go and enjoy a drink.

We did all of out excursions privately thanks to this site and saved a ton!!! Easier to book and decide and we enjoyed every one of them.

Let's see the third day we went to Roatan Honduras which is the most beautiful island I have ever been too!!! Their is no hard rock cafe or things like that but that is what I loved about it. Just watch for the little kids trying to sell stuff for 1 dollar. We went zip lining with Pirates of the Caribbean and they were great! 1600 feet long and 400 feet high!!! 9 lines after the big one that are fun also. It was unfortunate to find out a woman died the day before after we went (god bless her family) but as I said after we went so we were not even thinking about that. Got to meet Poncho the monkey which loved me so much he climbed on my head (great pics) This island is a must see... Just don't be intimidated by the poverty. Our tourist dollars will hopefully help them out. The 4th day we went to Belize and it was the only day it was rainy (some say it is usually like this in Belize) we used Coral Breeze tours to go snorkeling the reef and go to the private island for a beach break. Gorgeous islands and we had a great time snorkeling and looking for manatees. Try the Belkin Beer. The last place we visited was Cozumel which is also gorgeous and I know I sound like a broken record but I really loved this itinerary. We went to Chankanab Park to do the dolphin swim through dolphin discovery. This park was our favorite stop by far!!! They have a snorkel park, botanical gardens, lagoon, pool, hammocks, bar, restaurants ect ect... SOOO much to do the dolphin swim was an experience and we did buy some of the pics 14 each, not that bad. I am speeding this up a bit because I have a ton to do. The last sea day was fun and grace won a SHIP ON A STICK!!! in the sex and love quiz (:
