Sail Date: Dec 2007

My husband and I sailed on the Caribbean Princess for a honeymoon get-a-way during the last week of December 2007, in time to celebrate New Years. It was my second cruise with Princess. The last was 15 years ago and it was his first cruise, ever. I'll review the ship under a number of categories that were important to us.

Hotel Accommodation: We stayed at the Marriott North in Fort Lauderdale. The room was very nice, well appointed with gorgeous linens and a wetlands park adjacent to the property. Hotel dining room was adequate with service that left much to be desired. The bus transportation arranged by Princess was very strange. Two older women were in charge and they were pretty cranky. Directions regarding the time of departure and location were quite vague. Will be tempted to arrange for our own transportation next time.

Embarkation: Couldn't get over how smooth it was. We were in our rooms in 15 minutes. Very impressed with the warm welcome and directions offered by crew. Muster Drill was the most painless I have ever encountered-brief and well organized.
