All in all, it was a fairly good cruise. Embarkation went fairly smoothly. We had wine bottles in our luggage and they did not confiscate it.
The cabin was nice, not as big as we thought they would be. Our cabin was a balcony up front right beside the Bridge starboard side. We have had bigger and nicer appointed rooms onboard Celebrity and Holland America. There are no nightstand beside the bed. So forget about drinking and reading or watching TV in your bed!! And Ladies, bring your clips to hang your skirts because there are not clips on the hangers.
Foodwise, it was very good but not warm enough. They said they were trying out new devices to warm the food but it is not working. We can honestly say that the food was very good, be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. At 17h30, we had sushi in the casino which was very fresh and very good contrary to a comment I read. Pizza is very good, the Yangtze counter (chinese food) was excellent. In the dining room at night, we had a table for 2. Service was a little fast. We had to tell the headwaitress to slow down a bit.
