Two adults, one 10 year old girl and two seniors. Embarkment in Tampa went very well with the Sail and sign info already done online. We really didn't know what to expect from this cruise being the first one. We have done many all inclusive islands and wanted something different to try. We booked a balcony room which is well worth the money with the extra room and it was nice to be able to sit out for sunrise/sunset. Our daughter loved the Camp Carnival as it has specific age categories so she was with kids her own age. Didn't find the ship dark but we have nothing to compare it to, we thought it was beautiful and very clean. Food doesn't even need to be discussed...awesome!! Ship staff were the best in all categories and very friendly. We were a little concerned with sea sickness (I have motion sickness) but it wasn't a problem at all, not much movement at all. Ports were all good but Roatan was by far our favorite, very beautiful and Victor Bodden Tours and our guide Ben did a fantastic job. Belize was very good with the group from Cave Tubing.com doing an excellent job. They took extra special care of our daughter and all the kids and gave Mom extra care as well. If we had booked this tour through Carnival our daughter wouldn't have been allowed to go and they keep everyone together just like their video shows. Cozumel was very good and this was the only tour we booked through Carnival, the snorkel and beach party on the Fury Catamaran. Right at the pier when we got off the ship. My Mom had never snorkeled before and they took really good care of her. We have to say we were disappointed in Grand Cayman, not so much the island but the tour. We booked through Captain Marvins for the Stingray City/Island Tour and the tour was ok but we waited for almost 2 and 1/2 hours from the time we got off the ship until we finally started the tour. They kept saying "we're leaving in 20 minutes". Stingray City was good but the snorkeling before that was poor and they basically just anchored the boat and said "go ahead". This was the only island that didn't operate on "ship time". All the others met you when you got off the ship regardless of what the local time was. I guess with all the banks the tourist dollars aren't as important and because we started so late we had no time to do or see anything else and we couldn't leave as they kept saying just 20 minutes. All in all it was a great vacation and would recommend a cruise to anyone and we are already thinking about another next winter and we'll look to Carnival again. For the lady I met on the tender to Belize the tour was great!!!
