Background.
This was our sixth cruise, fourth on RCI, the others were on NCL and Celebrity. It was our second cruise on Jewel, having sailed on a memorable 12 nighter to the Baltics and Russia in 2006. We travelled with two friends doing their first full cruise, and booked the entire RCI package including flights, transfers and hotels before and after the cruise.
