Not so much!

Sail Date: March 2008
Destination: Mexican Riviera
Embarkation: Los Angeles

This was our first, and probably last, time on Norwegian. We've only done Princess prior to this, and would choose Princess again in a second.

The ships appearance was good, as well as was the staff. We never had any problems there. Additionally, I will say that the showers are WAY bigger than on Princess. But I can look past that for the other things Princess does have.

The food on the Star was not up to par. I would NOT eat at the buffet after eating there the first day. The specialty restaurants were ok, but really not worth the extra $$. Cagney's would be the best and was worth the extra $$.

Drinks are quite expensive compared to our past cruises. The daily special was $9.75! We drank more when in port. Tequila and beers were much cheaper there.

As for the ports, skip Acapulco. The rest were very nice and we had great excursions of swimming with the dolphins and whale watching.

Cabo was a blast! Great port, good food and fun! More

Disembarkation was a nightmare!! Very disorganized! Less
