We had an amazing time on the Destiny the week of March 2!

The travelers: It was a group of five of us from New England who needed to get away from the cold for a week. Three of us had been on the Destiny a few years back and were excited for the new itinerary. All of us had cruised with Carnival before.

San Juan: We stayed at the Intercontinental the night before to avoid any travel delays. While the government rate was better than the flat rate the price is only worth it if you were going to utilize the pool and the beach - which we did. The hotel was gorgeous and was a nice way to start the vacation. The one issue was the fact they did not have our room ready until 6 pm but they were nice enough to compensate us for our time.
