To begin with we are DVC members and love our program! So, we set out three weeks ago to book a cruise on Disney, talk about last minute. We started the vacation on Thursday before the cruise date of Saturday to be sure we did not miss our ship date. The transfer is made very easy from the World resorts to the Port. Highly recommend this service. To start off the cruise in a grand Disney style was the Bon Voyage party!! And what a party all the characters out in there Best cruise clothes ready to entertain us all!! With a little help from our Host MC David whom was always there to entertain you and to keep the cruise fun for all. Even with all the bags you had to unpack (which was in our cabin very quickly and empty before the famous MUST do boat safety drill) We chose to do our scheduled dining (late sitting 8:30pm) and met some wonderful people and we enjoyed the whole trip at dinner. There was three of them and there was three of us. They had one child a boy and we had one girl both close in age and they enjoyed each others company at dinner and in the kids programs. We chose the western cruise on the Magic because we do like the ports of call and wanted to go to Key west to do the Duval Crawl in Style!! (PS leave your kids on the wonderful Magic kids group as we did, 1 12 yr old girl who loved ,loved the program!) We saw many dragging there kids and I can say it was no fun for them watching the adults doing the crawl. The weather was not the warmest this day so what a great way to start at Hogs Breath and stagger down to Margaritaville for that perfect Margarita! Then turn around and do it all over back to the ship Be sure to stop by Sloppy Joes great band and service and drinks. As it was getting close to be back on the ship, we cleaned our hands as we entered our home away from home. (you will clean your hands very often on the ship, Disney is very serious about keeping germs down to a minimum.) For are second evening on board we dined at Palo, DO NOT MISS FOR ANY REASON!!! This was a wonderful experience our Server Thomas was one of the best and we have eaten at many 5 star restaurants. Disney has the right to claim it at this restaurant!! I can not say this about the regular dining room. The service was good in our regular dining room but the food Disney needs to work on. ( I hope I get a email from them so I can go over it item by item) After, dinner there was always something to do for us and for our daughter who loved her program that Disney had set up for the kids. They always had something going and many nights she was out past us. Disney made it easy to enjoy as much as you like of the entertainment or as little by sitting in those quiet places on board deck 4 in the old fashioned cushion wood chairs to the aft of the boat on level 10 where you could steal a kiss from your lover. At our second port of call the Grand Cayman's we had planned a Sea Excursion to the east side at Rum Point!! Great trip from beginning to end. Disney had the service down pat off the ship in a orderly fashion(prearranged area on the ship to follow someone off the ship to guide to to your transportation.) The transportation to our excursion was great a taxi bus AC to the ferry (30-40 minute ride across beautiful water to Rum Point) Off at Rum point to enjoy a relaxing beach and a great lunch (best MAhi Mahi sandwich the whole trip). Be careful in the water my daughter and another guest did find sharp pieces of glass in the water. (made you a little nervous but everything else was great!! After are day in the sun we went back to the Ship to enjoy some more fun. It was hard to eat at the regular dining room after being in Palo. But for the after dinner entertainment you could not beat it. We even won a Know you mate game! After that night everyone on the cruise knew us. ( I guess we were good entertainment fun and you win great prizes, I won a mini facial at the on board SPA it was great!!). Everyone we met who used the SPA had great things to say about it, after I did use my gift I wish I had booked more items at the spa. Give it a try!

A small note on the formal nights, it is very nice to see the adults and children dress up. This was a nice pleasure that does not happen often. My husband did bring a tux and used it three times. It was romantic to have us all dress up and show off! Also, for Pirate's night on board, go for it bring all your pirate gear , it is fun and Jack Sparrow is there sexy as ever with his devilish smile waiting to take a picture with you. The ship photographers do a great job! Also there to get that special moment and you can have family professional photos done with no sitting fees or obligations. Where can you do that on land? No where!

Our next port of call was Cozumel, it has not changed much by the way them still begging you to buy there wares! If this bother you don't shop, it is the cheapest shopping spot but we where in more to go find a Cold drink ( Margaritaville again ) There was great fun and a lot of drinking going on there. I did not bring my swim suit but you can swim off the bar and lay in the sun and drink. The people where really nice good music and fun for all! ( Not for the kids for a long period of time more adult fun I would say)We walked a crooked line back to the ship and had some more fun!! The next day was day at sea going to the last port of call. During the cruise Disney put on Broadway quality shows. Do not miss these shows , you will me sorry because the talent is great and the sets you can not believe for a Ship. Now we see why Disney Magic was given the Highest Emerald award for being the best on the water. See is believing!! On to Castaway Cay (pronounced key) This is a slice of heaven at sea!! The ship could stay docked everyday there and get on and off and I would be happy. The adult beach is not be missed and the food at the adult beach is very good. They cook it in front of you for your liking and they even grilled my bun when I asked!
