This was the 4th cruise my wife and I have been on, and for sure the best. There were a few minuses, but overall the Carnival Legend is a fantastic ship with great port of calls.
Pre-Cruise We arrived in Tampa a few days before our cruise and rented a car from Alamo. They have great last minute specials, we got a convertible for only $23 per day with a free shuttle to the cruise port. We stayed with friends and relatives before our cruise, then headed to the ship on Sunday, March 2. The shuttle service to the port from Alamo was prompt and we arrived there around 11am.
Embarkation Very smooth, no issues at all. Security was quick, and no problems with carrying wine on board in my carry-on. The older gent who checked us in was friendly and courteous and we were on board by 11:30.
