Lets begin by saying we have been cruising for the past 20 years, this is our 21st cruise. We spread the wealth when it comes to cruise lines, and have been on most all of them.

We like NCL because of the freedom not to get dressed up! We loved the speciality restaurants on board POA, but you do have to pay. We ate at all of them, including the Italian restaurant and the Diner. We set our minds that if we want service of yester years, be prepared to pay, so we are! we never ate at the main restaurant, or the buffet, not enough time or desire. I loved the diner, must have the onion rings, strawberry milkshakes and the brownie icecream treat!

The room was small, for a high level cabin. The balcony is a must for Hawaii, humpback whale breeding season when we went and we could watch them from our room. What a site for us to see so many mom and baby whales!!! Our cabin stewart was very good, we never saw her, but our room was clean, towels were fresh and ice full. Great person, who we did provide with an additional tip at the end.
