Embarkation - Being new to cruising, my wife and I had NO clue what to expect. A friend dropped us off at the port, and we witnessed a MASSIVE line that looked like it would take hours. Well, it didn't. The luggage porter was somewhat odd as he made "clicking" noises at us to get our attention. He informed us that we had to have our bags carried on by a porter, much to our relief. The check in process was fast, and the lady at the desk answered all of our questions. Being a cash account, we had to go to the purser's desk to make the deposit, which took quite a while. Guess we weren't the only cash account on this trip. LOL

Public Rooms - WOW! The atrium was amazing. We felt like it was Las Vegas (neon and lots of glass). We couldn't stop looking up and around us (sorry to those we bumped into). Everything was clean, and the staff were always willing to offer assistance.

Cabin - Much larger than we thought. We were upgraded from an interior cabin to a porthole view (don't know what we did to earn that perk). It was clean, lots of towels, and the bed was amazingly comfortable.
