Having sailed on the Norwegian Dawn 2.5 years ago, my wife and my 2 daughters (11 and 7 years) were really looking forward to enjoying some winter sun in the Caribbean. We weren't disappointed.

We love the Freestyle concept. It is so relaxing. OK, you have to make reservations if you want to eat in the specialty restaurants, but we never had trouble booking (read the CC message boards for all the insider tips). We decided that the 2 most important restaurants for us to try on this cruise were Mama's and Cagney's - so we booked them early on in the trip. We also enjoyed Tango's and Chin Chin's.

The food on board was tasty in all the restaurants. We ate at both Czar's Palace and Azura and enjoyed the different decor and atmosphere of both. Sometimes we had to wait a few minutes to be seated, especially when there was a really good show in the theatre that night. But we never waited more than a few minutes. (We typically ate early, around 6pm.)
